Waters Integrative Health Center

Robin & Caterpillar“I knew I wanted to be a biologist at the age of five.  I saw a robin eat a caterpillar and my dad, Ernest Edward Waters, explained to me that there was a certain balance in Nature.

After early training in biology, biochemistry, and genetics, I went to Medical School anticipating I could use all the principles of science I had learned to improve the health of my patients.  However, I learned early on that my profession was focused on a drug therapy paradigm to treat human illness.  Within one year of starting practice, I decided to apply the basic sciences of biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology in an attempt to improve the medical complaints of my patients.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that humans were designed to be healthy.  My genetics research taught me that, if given the proper raw materials, organisms could heal themselves of illness.”
